Agreement of Inter-Communion between the International Ecumenical Catholic Church and the United Fellowship of Independent Catholics
Whereas: Each Communion recognizes the catholicity and independence of the other;
Whereas: Each Communion agrees to admit members of the other Communion to participate in the Sacraments;
Whereas: Inter-Communion does not require from either communion the acceptance of exact doctrinal positions or beliefs, sacramental devotion, or liturgical practice characteristic of the other, but implies that each believes the other to hold all essential elements of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Faith; and faithfully accept the principle of unity within diversity, holding to a love of Christ, the desire to serve Him according to the understanding of His Will.
Now Therefore, we as duly authorized representatives of our respective jurisdictions, as a sign of recognition that we are in mutual spiritual kinship and support within the historic Catholic tradition of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church:
Do hereby: Sign this Agreement of Inter-communion between the International Ecumenical Catholic Church and the Ecumenical Catholic Church, on this Fifth day of January in the year of our Lord, Two-Thousand and Sixteen (2016).
